Chess Success!

After two years of agonising draws and defeats, on Friday 29th March, our chess team was triumphant against Kings Norton Girls’ School, in a game ending 6-2. The team’s coach, Mr Ridges, commented ,“it’s a testament to the team’s resilience. I’m very proud of what we’ve accomplished these past few months.

After two years of agonising draws and defeats, on Friday 29th March, our chess team was triumphant against Kings Norton Girls’ School, in a game ending 6-2. The team’s coach, Mr Ridges, commented ,“it’s a testament to the team’s resilience. I’m very proud of what we’ve accomplished these past few months. It’s more than a game of chess, it’s a test of character.” Congratulations to Shriya, Madhini, Aparna, Anya and Annah.
