Several students recently participated in the Northfield Festival of Music and Speech and performed very well! Sharon Li won the eleven years piano class as well as the open duet class, alongside Derwent Wilson who played the harp. Ritisha participated in speech classes and achieved an Outstanding grade in verse speaking as well as a Distinction Grade in two other categories. Ritisha also achieved a Distinction in her Grade 6 Viola examination and a Distinction in her Grade 3 LAMDA examination, scoring 96 out of 100. In addition, Bronagh has been offered a place at the Junior Royal College of Music where she will be studying on Saturdays. Congratulations to everyone!

King Edward VI High School for Girls, Birmingham (KEHS) has been named West Midlands Independent Secondary School of the Year for Academic Excellence for the fifth year in a row and is once again the highest-ranking independent school outside London and the South East, with a national ranking of 11th.
