Well done to Bhavya and Kheera in the Lower Sixth who have just launched their medical topics podcast Heartbeat: NHS Uncovered. So far, they have released two episodes.

”Why read when you can listen? Unfortunately, medical books can be a drag. We know. You’re expected to do extra reading for medical school, but it doesn’t always provide you with all the information. Our podcast has allowed us to research topics that interest us, ask doctors questions we want answered and meet interesting people we wouldn’t have met otherwise! There are so many different jobs out there, so we thought that we could share what we found with all of our listeners, including doctors working in the harshest of conditions and to-be doctors who are passionate about equality for women in medicine”.
