Over the Summer, Jiya and Shahnoor worked together to produce an article for Mentor Magazine which looked at the stigma surrounding breast cancer screening. In particular, they focused on the overall inequalities in breast cancer screening and the low rate of screening uptake by South Asian women, in spite of the significantly higher cancer mortality rates in ethnic minority communities.
