On Wednesday 7th November, students in the Upper School were treated to an expert review and analysis of the US midterm elections and the Trump presidency, by Professor Scott Lucas from the University of Birmingham. Professor Lucas not only provided a detailed and insightful analysis of the results, having arrived in school fresh from speaking to global media channels, but also evaluated the news coverage of the Trump administration. Professor Lucas is the founding editor of EA worldview. The talk not only provided new and critical insights into the Trump White House but also invaluable information for those interested in studying politics at university.
