On Wednesday, KES and KEHS pupils crisscrossed the KEHS site to attend a variety of university taster talks. The sessions helped the pupils to think about possible future subject, course, and university choices. They also heard from admissions staff about how to make competitive applications, as well as being given insights into what university life is like, including the popular ‘Hide & Seek Soc’ at Birmingham University!
While most of our students still follow the traditional university route, there is a growing interest in other pathways. It was fantastic, therefore, to hear from one of PwC’s ‘Flying Start’ pupils, Alina Schroff. After 4 fast-paced years, she will achieve a BSc, her chartered accountancy qualifications, and have several years of paid auditing work with top FTSE companies under her belt!
