On 10th January, we were lucky enough to welcome barrister Aadhithya Anbahan to mentor the KEHS/KES Mock Bar Trial team in preparation for our upcoming competition. Miss Anbahan, a practising member of St Ives Chambers and representative of the Young Bar Committee in the West Midlands Circuit, gave us a plethora of tips on how to convincingly construct arguments, opening speeches and cross-examinations. She also provided a valuable insight into the workings of the Crown Court, including court etiquette, format and dress-code! Many thanks go to Miss Anbahan for mentoring us, and to Miss Williams for inviting her and helping our team out. Wish us luck for the competition tomorrow!
